In the match against Atletico Madrid, Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation are launching the first edition of their shirt auction initiative for 2022/23
The game on August 29th will help raise funds so that Casa Caridad can continue to carry out their work helping homeless people and those at risk of social exclusion. Shirts used in the match will be available for fans to bid on, with proceeds from the auction being designated to the purchase of school supplies for Casa Caridad to distribute.
The alliance between Valencia CF and the VCF Foundation with MatchWornShirt will allow Valencia CF fans from anywhere in the world to acquire shirts worn in the LaLiga game.
The auction will start at kick-off time (10 pm CEST) and will end on September 4th at 8 pm.
MatchWornShirt professionally sanitise each shirt before it is shipped to recipients, to ensure safety. Using a UV-C treatment they remove all viruses, bacteria and traces of DNA from the shirts. At the same time, special elements of the match are preserved, such as grass and mud stains.
CASA CARIDAD
A pioneering institution in responding to the needs of disadvantaged people, Casa Caridad was created over 100 years ago. They provide help and shelter, distributing more than 45 million food rations and housing hundreds of thousands of homeless people in their rooms.
Casa Caridad has two projects related to minors and families: A free Nursery School that caters to boys and girls between the ages of 3 and 5, and a program in which they assist the families of the Nursery School and offer them talks and orientation workshops every 15 days.
